Owen Kuhn McWilliams Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Eligibility:

Must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA
Must be planning to become a teacher in the sciences or mathematics, if there are no applicants that meet this criteria, applicants planning to become a teacher in computer science may also be considered
Must demonstrate financial need
Must demonstrate academic promise
Must demonstrate passion for teaching

The Owen Kuhn McWilliams Memorial Scholarship has been established by Raylene Owen to provide scholarship assistance to Western Colorado University students who plan to become science or mathematics teachers. This scholarship serves to honor the memory of William Henry Owen, Jr., an extraordinary science teacher, as well as Raylene McWilliams Owen’s family, a proud legacy of educators.
