Bill and Bertha Mae Schindler Memorial Scholarship

The Bill and Bertha Mae Schindler Memorial Scholarship was established by her daughter, Maxine Marcella Pierce, a 1974 Business and Accounting graduate of Western, to provide scholarship assistance to business students at Western Colorado University. This scholarship serves to celebrate the memory of Bill and Bertha Mae Schindler.

ELIGIBILITY:
Full-time undergraduate Business major
maintain a minimum of 2.75 GPA
Preference shall be given to underrepresented and diverse populations
Demonstrated service work as part of their resume
Application essay should highlight scholarship, character and service
Scholarship will automatically renew each year for four years if the recipient maintains eligibility
Ideally, the application/selection process will only be done every four years
