The Vern and Nell Whiting Business, Accounting and Economics Memorial Scholarship

The Vern Whiting Business, Accounting and Economics Memorial Scholarship has been established by Vern’s wife, Nell, and family and friends to provide scholarship assistance to Western students. This scholarship serves to honor Vern Whiting, who taught at Western for 25 years. This followed a career in business and all levels of education. He believed strongly that teaching business mandates “real world” experience.

Eligibility:
Must be a full time junior or senior majoring in Business, Accounting or Economics
Must demonstrate financial need
