Glen DeBroder Memorial Scholarship

The Glen DeBroder Memorial Scholarship has been established by his son, John DeBroder, and daughter-in-law, Leslie DeBroder, to provide scholarship assistance to Western Colorado University students. This scholarship serves to honor the memory of Capt. Glen G. DeBroder, Class of 1954. A distinguished Navy pilot, teacher and philanthropist, Capt. Glen DeBroder cherished his relationship with Western. This scholarship honors Capt. DeBroder’s generosity, and his lifelong commitment to family, friends and country.

Applicants for the Scholarship:

A. Must have a minimum 2.75 GPA at Western; for entering freshmen, must be in top one-half of high school graduating class
B. Any Academic major
C. Financial need shall be the principal criterion, with preference given to students who
also participate in extra-curricular activities (e.g., community service, volunteering, tutoring, sports, etc.)
