Victoria J. Kirtay Memorial Fund

The Victoria Kirtay Memorial Scholarship has been established by her husband, Ali Kirtay, to provide scholarship assistance to Western Colorado University students in her memory. This scholarship serves to honor female students pursuing a degree in the sciences or liberal arts. Throughout her life, Victoria was passionate about helping others. Even though she studied and worked in science fields, she strongly believed in the value of liberal arts education. WCU always had a special place in her heart. This scholarship will serve to keep her memory alive.

Amount depends on funds available.

Eligibility:

This scholarship is open to all, but preference will be given to a recipient who has demonstrated commitment to the advancement of women studying science or pursuing a liberal arts education.
Must demonstrate financial need
Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0
