Olaf Kjosness Memorial Scholarship

Former Dean of Students Olaf Kjosness, Ph.D., who filled the position of “father figure” and mentor to hundreds of Western students, personally subsidizing students from his own finances. The scholarship he established when he retired and a memorial fund established by family and friends have been combined to honor and perpetuate his memory.

Award depends on funds available.

ELIGIBILITY:
Full-time Western students
Minimum 3.2 GPA
Must demonstrate leadership abilities and high personal character
