Geiman Scholars Program Scholarship

The Geiman Scholars Program has been conceived and established by Mr. David Geiman to provide opportunity, academic mentoring, and scholarship assistance to deserving first generation university students from the Western Slope of Colorado.

ELIGIBILITY:

A. Must be enrolled in the Geiman Scholars Program

B. Must be residents of Colorado’s Western Slope

C. Must demonstrate:
1. Leadership abilities
2. Strong academic potential
3. Financial need

D. Must be First Generation University students
(Defined as: Either mother or father have not obtained a college degree. It is not necessary that both parents have not obtained a degree)

E. Preference will be given to underrepresented populations

F. Must maintain a cumulative 2.8 GPA to remain eligible for scholarship (see attached Statement of Acceptance for details)
