John W. Peterson Memorial Scholarship

The John William Peterson Memorial Scholarship fund has been established to perpetuate the memory of John William Peterson— husband, father and hardworking family man— who was killed in an industrial accident on December 27, 1984. The fund shall be used to fund a scholarship at Western Colorado University. The John William Peterson Memorial Scholarship was established by John E. Peterson, John William Peterson’s son, a 1976 graduate of Western.

ELIGIBILITY:
Full time student
major in Engineering (must be a Western Colorado University Student)
financial need is an important consideration
