Professional Development Travel Award

These funds support individual graduate students who wish to attend opportunities of professional interest such as conferences, meetings, workshops, seminars, and other relevant outlets that contribute toward preparing the student for employment in their chosen career path by covering the cost of registration, lodging, and/or transportation. These opportunities are not venues for students to present their research or creative work. The maximum grant amount is $500.

• Must be a registered graduate student in good academic standing.
• Students are eligible for one travel grant per academic year.
• Travel must occur during the funding period.
• Preference is given to students participating in events with the greatest impact on professional-development and that provide the greatest opportunity for public dissemination.
• Priority is given to new applicants who have yet to receive funding.
• Only complete applications will be considered.
