Whitney Chantal Glover Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by the family and friends of Whitney Chantal Glover. During Whitney’s time in the hospital, her nurses and doctors provided great care and were profoundly impacted by Whitney’s character and personality. The Whitney Chantel Glover Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of Whitney and the impact of the healthcare professionals who cared for her by supporting students in the Nursing Education Program in furthering their education.

Eligibility:
- Be a graduate of Gunnison High School
- Be majoring in biology with an emphasis in pre-nursing, enrolled in the Western Nursing Education Program, or pursuing the nursing track with an alternative major.
- Have a grade point average of 3.0 or greater, a minimum of a 2.5 grade point average will be considered under the circumstances that there are no applicants with a 3.0 or greater.
- This scholarship is open to all, with preference given to a recipient who has demonstrated commitment to the advancement of women in healthcare.
- Previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply annually
