The Greater Milwaukee Foundation encourages institutions to grant fewer scholarships in larger amounts. Scholarship dollars may be applied equally to first and second semester.
The award may be used to support the pursuit of obtaining a degree or certificate at a trade or vocational school, college, or university.
This scholarship may be used for tuition, room and board, books, fees, or equipment needed for coursework.
Demonstrated financial need.
Must be in good academic standing.
The institution has the discretion to award future scholarships to the same student in subsequent years.

- Maintain a minimum of 3.0 grade point average
- Preference for Graduate students who are degree-seeking (Western Colorado University criteria)
