Cecil Giles Football Scholarship
The Cecil Giles Football Scholarship was established from the estate of Cecil and Agnes Giles. Cecil graduated from Western Colorado University in 1938 with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and in 1948 with a Master of Arts in 1948. While an undergraduate at Western, Cecil was captain of the freshman “frosh” football squad. Following his freshman year, "Giles"Â was a starting tackle for the Mountaineers.
