Ken MacLennan Scholarship

The Ken MacLennan Scholarship has been established to provide scholarship assistance to

Western State students. This scholarship serves to honor the memory of deceased faculty
member, department chair and coach Ken MacLennan.

ELIGIBILITY
- Major: Preference given to Recreation & Exercise Sports Science majors
- Need: Have an unmet financial need
- Athletics: Student athlete in a NCAA sport
- Year in School (after completion of current spring semester): Must be full-time student
at Western
- GPA: 2.75 or higher
- Residence: Preference will be given to students from small towns or rural areas
- Other: Have a history of community service and strong work ethic
- Renewal: Scholarship may be renewed for more than one year, if recipient remains
eligible and reapplies
