Rick Bettger Athletic Training Scholarship

The Rick Bettger Athletic Training Scholarship was established when Western Colorado University received the generous gift from the estate of the late alumnus Rick Bettger. An annual award will be applied to a student’s educational expenses at Western Colorado University. The Rick Bettger Athletic Training Scholarship has been established in honor of Rick Bettger to provide a scholarship in his memory for students who intend to become athletic trainers.

Applicants for the Scholarship:
a. Exercise & Sport Science major at Western.
b. Must have completed a minimum of one year in residence at Western.
c. Must have an accumulative grade point average of 3.2 at time of selection.
d. Must have demonstrated professional promise in the field of Athletic Training.
