Ethel Rice Art Scholarship

Ethel Rice (’63), Retired Technical Services and Special Collections Librarian for Western established this fund for students majoring in Art. Ethel wants students to have the opportunities she had when she attended Western. She also established the Ethel Rice Athletic Scholarship.

Ethel hopes that the pursuit of a degree in Art will bring a life long appreciation for Art in the recipient’s lives as it has in hers.

This scholarship is more than simply a gift to provide financial aid. This scholarship is an investment in you and the dividends will be all that you become. You are more than a scholarship recipient, you are part of a legacy in making the world a better place. Eligibility

Full-time, formally admitted Art majors
Students must have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours
Have and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or greater
