Paul & Mirta Coleman Memorial Scholarship

Coleman, Paul , Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund ,Established by Mirta M. Coleman (Paul’s wife) and Julia Cockrill and Hazel Dickey, Ed.D. (Paul’s sisters) to celebrate the memory of Paul, who coached baseball and basketball at Western, and taught Health, Physical Education and Recreation. He retired in 1987 after 17 years of service.

Colorado residents who are graduates of Gunnison High School
Full-time student (12 semester credit hours)
Maintained a 3.2 GPA or higher as a GHS graduate or a 3.0 GPA as a Western Student

This scholarship is provided by the Coleman family.
