Mountain Sports Trail Running Scholarship

The Mountain Sports Athletic Tuition Scholarship has been established by the Western Colorado University Foundation and the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation – Mountain Sports to provide scholarship assistance to Western Colorado University students. This scholarship serves to support Mountain Sports student athletes with their tuition. This scholarship is intended for incoming students and renewal for students who have previously received it.
Eligibility Criteria:
A. Must participate on a Mountain Sports team
B. Must demonstrate some financial need
C. Must be either an incoming student being recruited by a Mountain Sports coach, or a previous recipient of the award
D. Must have a high school or transfer GPA of 3.0 or higher
E. Must maintain eligibility for Mountain Sports according to the requirements laid out in the Mountain Sports athlete code of conduct
