Gunnison Energy Corporation Scholarship

The Gunnison Energy Corporation Scholarship was established by the Gunnison Energy Corporation to assist students from Western Colorado who are enrolled in the Energy Management Program.

The Gunnison Energy Corporation believes that responsible development of natural resources of Western Colorado is important to the State of Colorado and to the nation. The Gunnison Energy Corporation hopes this scholarship will facilitate the training of the future professionals who will make the land, resource and environmental decisions associated with the responsible extraction and use of these resources.

The Gunnison Energy Corporation encourages you and other students at WCU to become aware of the land management issues facing Western Colorado and to constructively participate in the debates surrounding these issues.

Eligibility
Must be enrolled in the Energy Management Program
Must be a Junior or Senior at Western Colorado university
Financial need may be considered.
Preference will be given to students from Western Colorado. If there are no eligible students from this area, students from the State of Colorado may be considered.
