Beta-Gern Communication & Theatre Scholarship

The Beta Engineering/Jess Gern Scholarship was established in 1974 by Bob Austin to provide scholarship assistance to Western Colorado University students. This scholarship serves to honor Jess Gern, longtime speech and drama professor at then Western State College.

Eligibility
An outstanding student in the Communication Arts, Languages & Literature Department
Student must be a junior majoring in Communication or Theatre
Must have a 3.0 GPA or better
